Line dance, arms start in W-position. Meter 2/4

This dance is from the village of Kula, in Northwest Bulgaria, close to the Serbian border.(see map)

The entire dance is done facing center

Measure Count Step
Part I
1 1-2 Step forward onto R foot (1), step forward on to L foot (2)
2 1-2 Step forward onto R foot (1), step forward onto L foot (&) step forward onto R foot (2). During this measure the arms go down into V-position.
3 Step backwards onto L foot (1), step backwards onto R foot (2). During this measure the arms go back up into W-position. During the rest of the dance, the arms continue to alternate going down and back up, taking 1 measure to go down and 1 measure to go back up.
4 Repeat measure 2 with opposite footwork and direction
5-8 Repeat measures 1-4
Part II
1 1-2 Touch R heel diagonally forward (1), bring R heel up next to L calf (2)
2 1-2 Bounce three times on both feet (1&2)
3-4 Repeat measures 1-2 with opposite footwork
5-8 Repeat measures 1-4
Part III
1 1-2 Step forward onto R foot (1), step forward onto L foot (2)
2 1-2 Run forward onto R foot (1), run forward onto L foot (&), run forward onto R foot (2), stamp L foot (&)
